Before You Apply

Admission Requirements

Please review academic qualifications and general requirements ahead of enrollment.

AAcademic Qualification

  • Level 3 (Grade 0 – 12)
  • Level 2: anyone who attended Grade 9 – 12 (able to read and write)
  • Bring your statement of results, or a recommendation from a well-known referee.

BUniform

  • T-Shirt and apron bought at school — T-Shirt K100, Apron (Catering) K75
  • Black skirt for ladies, trousers for gents
  • Black jersey for all students

COther Requirements (paid every 3 months)

  • Detergent paste (2)
  • Bathing soap (2)
  • Tissue paper (10 rolls)
  • Ream of paper (1)

DCourse-Specific Items

  • Own flash disk — computer students only
  • Pot and pan — catering students only
  • Scissors, measuring tape, needles, pencils & machine needle — tailoring only
  • White T-shirt or chef jacket required during catering practicals
Conduct

Rules, Regulations & Offences

All students are expected to know and follow these rules for the duration of their studies.

Rules & Regulations

  1. School fees to be paid before starting the course, per term/month.
  2. Students must pay for damages and loss of property.
  3. Payment of school fees must be finished before going for attachments.
  4. Absenteeism for more than 3 consecutive days, or more than 10 random days without a proper reason, leads to immediate dismissal.
  5. Students must clean their own classroom and keep it in order.
  6. All requirements must be brought at the appropriate time.
  7. No student should take or tamper with any school equipment without permission.
  8. All students should be in uniform.

Disciplinary Offences

Any student found guilty of the following is liable for disciplinary action:

  • Riot
  • Any criminal offence
  • Disobedience or rudeness
  • Stealing
  • Abusive language towards authority or fellow students
  • Leaving school premises without authority
  • Indecent dressing
  • Any other unacceptable behavior
